Please be informed that on 25 January the Public Utilities Commission (SPRK) approved the water service tariff proposal submitted by SIA “Rīgas ūdens”.

The new tariff will take effect on 1 March, increasing the current water supply and sewerage tariff by approximately 2%, or 4 cents per cubic metre. This increase will still not bring the tariff up to its level at the beginning of 2023, as Rīgas ūdens reduced its tariffs by almost 13% last June.

The revised tariff proposal provides that from 1 March the water supply and sewerage tariff will be EUR 2.14 per cubic metre instead of the current EUR 2.10 per cubic metre (excluding VAT). Including VAT, the tariff will be EUR 2.59 per cubic metre (currently EUR 2.54).
