Preventive disinfection, or chlorination, of Riga’s water supply network is planned throughout the city from Tuesday, 6 February, to Friday, 9 February.

Rīgas ūdens will continuously monitor the situation, carefully tracking the chlorine concentration in the water. Although it poses no health threat, it is recommended to use boiled water for consumption during disinfection of the water mains and for 24 hours afterwards.
