Revised version
Version 2.1.
Land use and development regulations.
3.1.3. Roads and streets
26. When developing detailed plans or land management projects, roads and streets in villages must be designated as separate land units. In rural areas, road easements may be established without designating roads as separate land units. The municipality assesses each case and sets conditions in the terms of reference.
32. Within street areas between the red lines and within road rights of way, any enclosing structures or installations (barriers, etc.) that restrict traffic movement are prohibited, regardless of the width or ownership of the street or road. In individual cases, taking public safety considerations into account, the municipality may decide to permit a structure restricting traffic movement.
